The Processed fruits and vegetables are frozen in the freezing tunnel at about -36°C. IQF products are then sealed and packed automatically in multi-layer polybags on automatic Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) machines. The packed products are kept in cold storage at temperatues between -25°C and -20°C. The IQF technology immobilises all biological activity at temperature of -20°C. No preservatives or chemicals or brine or syrup or gravy is added to the products.
The shape, texture, colour and the original taste and flavour of the fruits and vegetables are retained. Consequently, fruits and vegetables can be directly used for cooking or eating.
